Annice is an entrepreneurial leader and strategist with a record of mobilizing people to advance equity by improving K-12, higher education, and community outcomes. She began her career in higher education where she worked at a variety of universities across the United States, launching new departmental functional areas and campus-wide strategies concentrated on student persistence, assessment, and leadership education. While studying for her Doctor of Education Leadership at Harvard, she consulted with large urban districts such as the New York City Department of Education, local charter schools, and educational non-profits. Her passion for building educational leaders’ capacity led to teaching, leading, and coaching school and system-level leaders enrolled in Harvard’s Programs in Professional Education, the Public Education Leadership Project, School Leadership Program for aspiring principals, and the Doctor of Education Leadership program. Deeply committed to community engagement, Annice has served on a City Council appointed Commission, been elected as the National Co-Chair for the African American Knowledge Community for the National Association for Student Personnel Administrators, and led community-based educational enrichment programs. Annice is the current Programming Chair for the 2017 Adaptive Leadership Network annual conference.
