I am passionate about:
I’m committed to empowering leaders to think (and act) more effectively in addressing the complex, multi-stakeholder issues most important to their organizational and personal success. | Having worked in public, private, and third-sector organizations I am continually reminded of the misperceptions and biases each sector harbors. Yet today’s complex issues (social, political, and commercial) all involve complex interactions among these sectors. In my work, I help leaders to see their ecosystems in a more holistic manner — one that makes room for transformational thinking and adaptation.
Christine Spadafor is a lawyer and management consultant. A former partner at the Boston Consulting Group (and other leading strategy firms), Ms. Spadafor has wide-ranging strategy experience — from complex international projects for Fortune 500 companies to M&A assignments and corporate restructurings for closely held enterprises and entrepreneurs. | A Harvard Law School graduate, she has served as a Corporate Counsel, a CEO, a board member, and an advisor to corporate executives. As a result, the American Bar Association's Business Section selected Ms. Spadafor as one of America's top 20 female attorneys with outstanding business expertise. | Christine Spadafor is active as an academic lecturer, presenter, and public speaker. She is a long-time lecturer in the Visiting Executive Program at Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business and a frequent speaker at academic seminars and industry meetings. Her frequent lecture topics include Organizational Turnarounds, Diversity, Women in Leadership, and Adaptive Strategy (the subject of her upcoming presentation at an international conference sponsored by Harvard Medical School). | Ms. Spadafor's extensive experience also extends to work for NGOs, nonprofits, and academic institutions. She served as a public health consultant to the United Nations in China. As an attorney, she served as an advocate for at-risk children and vulnerable adults. And for nearly 10 years, Ms. Spadafor dedicated her services to a nonprofit that serves abused, abandoned and homeless children.
